Use Your Oils with Ease

Whether you've had your oils for years or you just got started, this is for you!  The key to actually using your essential oils is to make things simple. The last thing you want is to feel so overwhelmed with your essential oils that you don't even use them.  Because of that we're going to stick with the "top ten" essential oils.  The "top ten" essential oils are your basic everyday oils - the ones that help to give your medicine cabinet a makeover, the start to green cleaning, and the foundation of your plant based health.

The chart below will give you the broad uses for these oils.  I want you to start with this, let it sink in.  The idea is that you'll start thinking about your essential oils...FIRST.  You get skin irritations...what oil should I use?  You want to clean your counters...what oil should I use?  You hurt yourself playing with your kiddos...what oil should I use?  You can't sleep...what oil should I use?  You have head tension...what oil should I use?

Are you starting to get my point?  Before I give you a bunch of recipes, I simply want you to take your oils out of wherever they are stashed and leave them out on the counter.  Leave them in a place that's annoying to you - I want them to be on the forefront of your mind.  You want to develop habits with them and to do that means repeated use.

Once you have mastered thinking about which one(s) to use, the next step will be to try it and play around with them.  doTERRA essential oils are totally safe and natural - they're safe for babies to the elderly, so it's okay to "play."  Try mixing Peppermint and Lemon for an uplifting energizer.  Lavender and Frankincense to unwind and relax.  Or On Guard and Melaleuca (Tea Tree) to create a cleaner.  Honestly you can't screw up - use the chart below and look for commonalities/overlap with the essential oil properties.  Most importantly have fun!

When you are ready for recipes or if you have questions along the way, please don't hesitate to reach out.  I'm here to help you take the overwhelm out of using your essential oils.
