FULL BODY RESET & RECOVERY
RECOVERY ROADMAP

The AromaStrech™ Method

Restore Balance • Reduce Tension • Rebuild Energy • Move Better Everywhere

When your body feels tight, fatigued, or out of sync, it’s rarely just one area—it’s a system-wide issue.

Stress, poor recovery, repetitive movement, lack of mobility, and nervous system overload can all contribute to full-body tension, reduced performance, and lingering discomfort.

A full body reset isn’t just about “rest”—it’s about restoring movement, improving circulation, regulating your nervous system, and helping your body recover efficiently.

This roadmap is designed to help you:
  • Reduce overall tension
  • Improve mobility and movement quality
  • Support recovery across all systems
  • Rebuild energy and resilience

What’s Really Causing Full Body Fatigue & Tension?
Full-body discomfort is often the result of multiple overlapping stressors.

⚡Nervous System Overload
Chronic stress, lack of recovery, and constant stimulation can keep your body in a “high alert” state.

This can lead to:
  • Muscle tension
  • Poor sleep
  • Reduced recovery
  • Increased fatigue

🔄 Limited Movement Variety
Repeating the same movements—or not moving enough—can create global stiffness and imbalance.

🩸 Poor Circulation
Circulation is essential for delivering nutrients and removing waste from tissues.

When it’s limited:
  • Recovery slows
  • Muscles feel tight
  • Energy levels drop

🧱 Fascial Restriction
Your fascia connects your entire body. When it becomes restricted, it can limit movement and create tension patterns across multiple regions.

YOUR DAILY RESET
(Mobility Work)

The goal of your daily reset is to gently move your entire body, improve circulation, and reduce stiffness.

1. FULL BODY FLOW (2-5 minutes)
How to do it
  • Move through gentle, continuous motions
  • Include reaching, rotating, and bending
  • Keep movements smooth
Why it helps:
Encourages movement across multiple joints and systems.

2. SPINAL MOBILITY - Flexion + Extension (8-10 reps)
How to do it
  • Round your spine forward
  • Extend backward
  • Move slowly

Why it helps:
Improves mobility through the entire spine.

3. HIP OPENERS (8-10 reps per side)
How to do it
  • Step into a gentle lunge or open stance
  • Shift weight slowly

Why it helps:
Reduces lower body tension and improves movement efficiency.

4. SHOULDER + ARM CIRCLES (10 each direction)
How to do it:
  • Perform slow circles
  • Move through comfortable range

Why it helps:
Improves upper body mobility and circulation.

TRAIN YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM
(Your Secret Weapon)

Recovery isn’t just physical—it’s neurological.

Your nervous system determines:
  • Muscle tone
  • Recovery speed
  • Energy levels
  • Movement quality

BREATH + BODY AWARENESS RESET (2-5 minutes)
How to do it:
  • Sit or lie comfortably
  • Soften your shoulders, unclench your jaw and close your eyes
  • Breathe slowly through your nose
  • Exhale through your mouth making the exhale slightly longer than the inhale
  • Focus on relaxing your body and notice the flow of your breath
  • Bring your attention to the top of your head and move your focus slowly down to your face, neck, and chest... notice any tight spots in your body without judgement
  • Imagine the tension melting away with each exhale as you scan down through your stomach, legs and feet

Why it works:
Helps shift your body into a recovery state.

SLOW MOVEMENT COORDINATION (1-2 minutes)
How to do it:
  • Move slowly through simple motions
  • Focus on smooth control

Why it works:
Improves control and reduces tension.

ACCELERATE YOUR RESUTLS
(In-Gym Recovery Tools)

A full-body reset can benefit from different recovery tools depending on what your body needs that day. Some options focus on circulation and tissue recovery, while others support relaxation, sensory input, temperature-based recovery, or nervous system regulation.

NATURAL SUPPORT
(Optional, But Powerful)

Supporting your body internally is essential for full recovery and long-term resilience.

PAIN & INFLAMMATION SUPPORT
Full body tension and fatigue can be linked to systemic inflammation and muscle overload.

Recommended support:
  • Deep Blue Stick + Copaiba
Apply directly to the area in need of TLC for a cooling, soothing effect.
  • Deep Blue Polyphenol Complex (combines polyphenol extracts of frankincense, turmeric, apple, ginger, pomegranate, and grapeseed)
Take 1-2 capsules (like you would an OTC anti-inflammatory) for internal support.
  • Frankincense Oil or Boswellic Acid Complex
Use the oil topically, directly on knee and 1 drop under tongue daily and/or take 1 capsule daily for anti-inflammatory support with antioxidant and healthy cellular function and repair.
  • Copaiba Oil or Softgels
Using the oil topically or taking the softgel (3 drops of oil) internally is just a matter of preference/convenience. If using topically I highly recommend layering with the Deep Blue Stick. You can also take 1-2 capsules - it aids healthy immune and inflammatory responses when taken internally. Both supports healthy inflammation response and comfort.
  • Turmeric Dual Chamber Capsules
Take 1-2 capsules daily to manage long-term inflammation. The turmerones and curcuminoids in this capsule maximize the effectiveness and benefits - a natural one-two punch in the fight against free radicals and promotion of a healthy inflammatory response.
JOINT & TISSUE SUPPORT
Your entire body relies on healthy joints, muscles, and connective tissue.

Recommended support:
In addition to Deep Blue Polyphenol Complex and Boswellic Acid Complex (mentioned above)
NERVOUS SYSTEM SUPPORT
Full body recovery starts with regulating your nervous system.

Recommended support:
  • Balance Grounding Blend
Apply to bottoms of feet to start your day off and/or diffuse throughout the day as needed.

  • Box Breathing
Inhale through the nose for 4 seconds, Hold for 4 seconds, Exhale for 4 seconds, Hold for 4 seconds - repeat 2-3 minutes. This signals safety to your nervous system, quickly lowering your heart rate and decreasing cortisol levels which can reduce tension in your low back almost immediately.

FOUNDATIONAL WELLNESS
Your body’s ability to recover depends on overall health.

Use this 3-part system as needed to reduce feelings of stress, restore mental and physical resiliency and when adapting to stressful situations or acclimating to new surroundings. Take 1 Calming Blend capsule daily to combat stress, tension, and occasional anxiousness. Diffuse the essential oil blend in your office or common area in your home to reduce fatigue and restlessness, and soothe an indecisive or irritable demeanor. Pop the Adaptiv Touch in your bag and take it with you on-the-go for dealing with life's most stressful moments no matter where you are - simply roll on pusle points (wrists, over heart, etc.).

DAILY MOVEMENT:
Your body thrives on consistent, varied movement.

Focus on:
  • Walking daily
  • Changing positions frequently
  • Avoiding prolonged inactivity
  • Incorporating mobility breaks
  • Moving in different directions
💡Movement is your body’s reset button.

HYDRATION & TISSUE HEALTH
Approximately 75% of the globe is dehydrated, so proper hydration cannot be talked about enough! It's not about drinking more water; it's about your body being able to absorb and use the water you drink. Hydration supports joint lubrication, fascia health, and muscle elasticity—key components for maintaining shoulder mobility and reducing stiffness.

DAILY HYDRATION GOAL:
Aim for at least half your body weight in ounces of water daily—and more if you’re active or experiencing discomfort. (Example: 140lbs = 70oz)

ELECTROLYTE SUPPORT:
  • Recharge Electrolyte Mix → A balanced blend of electrolytes—including potassium, sodium, and magnesium— that’s perfect for everyone, not just high-performance athletes. It also includes baobab extract and deep-ocean minerals like molybdenum, magnesium, vanadium from the Kuroshio Current in the Pacific Ocean, helping water work more cooperatively with your cells so you don’t have to work hard to stay hydrated. You can get Recharge in Lemon-Lime or Wild Strawberry (I like both, but a combo of both is my fav).
Use as needed to support proper absorption. Shake a sachet to activate. Pour the electrolyte concentrate into 16 ounces of cold water, stir or shake, and enjoy.

FASCIA & TISSUE SUPPORT AT HOME:
Your fascia connects your entire body—restrictions in one area can affect everything.

  • Gentle fascia blasting can help improve tissue mobility and reduce areas of restriction. Move slowly, use moderate pressure, breathe throughout and stay consistent.

    Feet > Foundation of movement
Calves & Hamstrings > Support circulation and mobility
Hips & Glutes > Central hub for movement
Back (Upper + Lower) > Supports posture and spinal health
Chest & Shoulders > Affects breathing and posture

*Please ask if you're unsure how to do at-home fascia release. Or for deeper support, try a signature AromaStretch-n-Blast session—a hands-on approach combining assisted stretching, fascia work, and targeted techniques to help improve knee stability and reduce discomfort.

ADVANCED RECOVERY ADD-ONS
(Optional)

Want to take your upper back and posture recovery a step further? These add-ons are designed to address the neurological and connective-tissue pieces of posture—including pressure-point support, visual coordination, body awareness, and circulation.

You don't need to do everything at once. Choose one or two that complement your Daily Reset and use them consistently.

ACUPRESSURE SUPPORT
The upper back, shoulders, and neck can accumulate tension when you're spending long periods in one position or when your body is constantly working to support a forward posture. Gentle acupressure can be incorporated into your recovery routine to encourage relaxation and bring awareness to areas that tend to hold tension.

How to use:
Apply firm, comfortable pressure for 30–60 seconds while breathing slowly. Stay just outside of painful or highly sensitive areas.

Recommended Points:
  • LI4 (Whole-Body Tension Support)
→ Between thumb and index finger
 → Supports tension relief

  • ST36 (Lower-Body & Recovery Support)
→ Approx 4 finger-widths below kneecap and slightly outside of the shin
→ Supports lower-leg relaxation, sensory input, grounding and overall body awareness

💡Pro Tip: Apply your favorite essential oil (like Deep Blue® or Copaiba) to surrounding tissues for a more complete recovery routine.

NEAR/FAR FOCUS DRILL + HEAD MOVEMENT
Your visual system provides your brain with constant information about where you are in space and how your body should respond. When you're stressed, fatigued, or physically tense, adding simple visual exercises can give your nervous system another way to practice coordination.

Eye Tracking + Upright Posture:
  • Sit or stand comfortably.
  • Hold your thumb approximately 8–12 inches in front of your face.
  • Focus on your thumb for several seconds.
  • Shift your focus to an object farther away.
  • Slowly turn your head to the right while keeping your eyes on the distant target.
  • Return to center.
  • Repeat to the left.
Alternate between your near and far targets.
  • Continue for 30–60 seconds
Progression
Once comfortable, perform the drill while slowly shifting your weight from one foot to the other. This adds balance and whole-body sensory input.

💡Improves visual tracking, eye-hand coordination, spatial awareness, brain-body communication and coordination durning movement.

CROSS -BODY RESET
Your brain coordinates movement across both sides of your body. Cross-body patterns can encourage communication between the upper and lower body while adding a gentle coordination challenge.

Cross-Crawl Reach
  • Stand tall with your feet comfortably apart.
  • Slowly lift your right knee.
  • Reach your left hand toward or across the raised knee.
  • Return to center.
  • Repeat on the opposite side.
  • Keep your movements slow and controlled.
  • Repeat 6–10 times each side
Progression
Slow the movement down rather than making it faster. Once the pattern feels easy, pause briefly at each cross-body position before returning to center.

💡Improves cross-body coordination, balance, brain-body communication, movement control and whole-body integration.
BODY AWARENESS RESET
When you're feeling physically or mentally overwhelmed, it can be easy to lose awareness of how you're actually holding your body. A simple body scan helps bring attention back to areas that may be unnecessarily tense.

Head-to-Toe Tension Scan
  • Sit, stand, or lie comfortably.
  • Start by noticing your jaw and face.
  • Move your attention through your neck, shoulders, chest, and upper back.
  • Continue through your abdomen, hips, legs, and feet.
  • Notice areas that feel tight without trying to immediately change them.
  • Take one slow breath as you soften each area.
  • Finish by noticing your entire body as one connected system.
  • Continue 2–3 minutes
Note
Don't try to make every part of your body completely relaxed. The goal is simply to notice what's happening and give your nervous system more information.

💡Body awareness, recognition of unnecessary tension, mind-body connection, relaxation, and nervous system awareness.

LYMPHATIC + CIRCULATION BOOST
The upper back and shoulders can become especially stagnant when you're sitting for long periods. Gentle movement and circulation-focused strategies can help reduce that heavy, stiff feeling and complement your mobility work.

Options to Try:
  • Dry Brushing
→ Using a soft dry brush, begin with gentle strokes on the limbs and gradually work toward the torso. Avoid aggressive scrubbing. This will support circulation, sensory stimulation, relaxation and healthy skin and tissue care.
  • Vibration Plate (if available)
→ 10-15 minutes to provide whole-body sensory input and gentle movement stimulation, making it a useful addition when you're looking for a simple recovery strategy that doesn't require a full workout.
  • Walking Reset
→ Walking is one of the simplest ways to combine movement, circulation, sensory input, and nervous system regulation into one activity. Depending on your activity level start with 5 minutes and work your way up to 20 minutes.

💡 Progression: Instead of always walking the same route while looking straight ahead, occasionally allow your eyes to explore your surroundings. This gives your brain additional visual and spatial information while you move.

RECOVERY RITUAL — Put It All Together
The biggest benefit comes from consistency rather than trying to complete every add-on separately.

Try This 5–10 Minute Reset:

1. Acupressure
Choose LI4 or ST36 and apply comfortable pressure for 30–60 seconds.

2. Visual Reset
Complete the near-to-far focus drill for 30–60 seconds.

3. Cross-Body Movement
Perform 6–10 slow cross-crawls per side.

4. Body Scan
Spend 1–2 minutes noticing and releasing unnecessary tension.

5. Movement
Finish with a short walk or gentle full-body movement.

What this supports:
  • Nervous system regulation
  • Whole-body awareness
  • Mobility
  • Coordination
  • Circulation
  • Recovery readiness
💡 Recovery Tip: A full-body reset doesn't have to mean doing more. Sometimes the most effective reset is simply giving your brain better sensory information, your body gentle movement, and your nervous system a chance to settle.

When Will You See Results?
Everyone responds differently, but consistency creates the best opportunity for improvement.

With consistent effort, many clients notice:
  • Reduced tension
  • Improved relaxation
  • Better mobility
  • Increased energy
  • Improved movement quality
  • Better recovery
  • Greater resilience

Move better. Feel better. Recover smarter.
This is the AromaStretch™ Method—and your whole body will thank you.
