Roller Recipes - BEAUTY

Over the next several weeks I'm going to share some of my favorite roller recipes. Last week we started with recipes for afflictions. So if you've got some aches, discomforts or annoyances make sure to check those out. Today we're barely going to scratch the surface for some roller recipes for our beauty needs. There are endless oil combinations to help with all your beauty needs, including creating natural, toxin and chemical-free perfumes and/or colognes. But we're going to keep things short and sweet.

Remember if you don't have an oil in the recipe make sure you reference my essential oil substitution guide.

CLEAR SKIN ROLLER BLEND

10 drops each: Frankincense, Lavender, and Tea Tree
2 drops Rose
Top with carrier oil of choice

UNDER EYE CIRCLES ROLLER BLEND
10 drops each: Copaiba, Frankincense, and Lavender
Topped with carrier oil of choice

PURE-FUME ROLLER BLENDS
Option 1) 10 drops each: Balance, Citrus Bliss, Elevation, and Whisper
Option 2) 8 drops each: Passion, Neroli, and Citrus Bliss
Option 3) 5 drops each: Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Grapefruit, and Jasmine
Topped with carrier oil of choice

Don't be afraid to play around with the essential oils that you like the best. Create you're own unique blend, remembering that your own pheromones will also help personalize the aroma.

FOR THE GUYS COLOGNE BLEND
10 drops each: Cedarwood and Cypress
5 drops each: Juniper Berry and Siberian Fir
Topped with carrier oil of choice

Just like with the pure-fume, you should have your man experiment with the oils that he likes the aroma of the best. Have fun with it!

Since we're talking about essential oils for beauty, I'm going to leave you with a roller blend that you can buy directly from doTERRA. It's one I use nightly to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Plus it promotes smoother, more radiant, and youthful-looking skin. It's called Immortelle, one of doTERRA's most popular blends for its anti-aging properties. This oil blend doesn't have any carrier oil, it's jam-packed with Frankincense, Hawaiian Sandalwood, Lavender, Myrrh, Helichrysum, and Rose. You could buy all the oils in this blend individually in order to make your own, but it's much more cost effective to get the blend ready-made from doTERRA ($69 wholesale in case you were wondering). My secret, since there's not a carrier oil is to split the recipe in two. You can either add a carrier oil great for your skin, like fractionated coconut oil or jojoba, or better yet what I do is add another oil to the mix known for it's skin-protecting and soothing properties: Yarrow|Pom.

Like I mentioned at the beginning there are TONS of things you can do with essential oils to help with your beauty routine, so if you're looking for a specific recipe, need a suggestion or have any questions, don't hesitate to email me
